Concerning certification activities, Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (AENOR) is the leading entity in Spain. It has been accredited as a certification entity by the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC) as far as certification of both quality and environmental management systems are concerned and certification of products and services according to national standards. In the field of analysis, AENOR maintains two laboratories: Centro de Ensayos, Innovación y Servicios (CEIS) and AENORlaboratorio which focuses on the food industry.
With the aim of facilitating access to standards and their implementation, and thereby contributing to the widespread culture of quality, AENOR provides a variety of services through its Info Centre, its Training Centre and the sales of standards and publications, all of which departments integrate new technologies in their offer (with a website, a web shop and a virtual library).
