The Helmholtz Information & Data Science Academy (HIDA) financially supports up to three-month long research stays at a Helmholtz Center, to enable new research collaborations, to foster knowledge exchange, and to explore new or emerging research topics in the field of information and data sciences.
HIDA offers funding options for a self-organized research stay in a department or working group in one of the 18 Helmholtz centers. Postdocs and doctoral researchers from (inter-)national research organizations and researchers from industry can apply for a research grant from the hosting Helmholtz cente in the amount of 2.860 EUR per month plus allowances. The deadline for applications is October 15, 2023. Further information and application forms can be found on the HIDA website.
There will also be an online information event on August 17, 2023 on HIDA funding opportunities for PhD students and postdocs who would like to apply for a short-term research stay at one of the 18 Helmholtz Centers.
