It aims to promote worldwide advances in life sciences and medicine, to encourage the expansion of researcher networks throughout the world, and to contribute to the well-being of humankind.
Field: Basic medicine, clinical medicine, or life sciences closely related to medicine
Prize: The Prize will be awarded to two laureates. Each laureate receives a certificate of merit, medal, and a monetary award of 10 million yen.
Ceremony: The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in November 2020 at the Keio University School of Medicine, Shinanomachi Campus, Tokyo, Japan.
