On Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., the first annual symposium of the "German Alliance for Global Health Research" (GLOHRA) will take place in presence in Berlin. After a long period of digital-only networking, GLOHRA Day will provide an opportunity for more than 700 interdisciplinary members and collaborators to meet, network through various networking opportunities, and share research findings and ideas on current global health challenges. Furthermore, GLOHRA-funded research projects in global health will be showcased, and speakers from BMZ, the Wellcome Trust, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will provide insights on translating research into practice.
GLOHRA was launched in February 2020 as an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The goal of this research-driven platform is to support interdisciplinary, international, and cross-sectoral research and collaboration on global health in and beyond Germany.
