The 5th Berlin Science Week will take place from November 1st to 10th. More than 200 events and 500 speakers from all over the world bring scientific breakthroughs and the latest findings to Berlin in physical, hybrid and digital formats. Because of the pandemic, a digital platform is being created this year together with the Falling Walls program on which researchers from all over the world will discuss the questions of our time with the interested public: the effects of COVID-19, about new findings in quantum research, to climate change and much more
In addition, a press conference will take place as part of the Berlin Science Week on October 14th, 2020 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, at which the highlights of the program will be presented. It is also possible to follow the press conference via live stream on the Berlin Science Week YouTube channel and then ask questions digitally. Due to the limited number of places, a binding registration is requested by October 9th, 2020.
The Berlin Science Week is being carried out with the support of the Senatskanzlei – Wissenschaft und Forschung and Berlin Partner. The non-profit Falling Walls Foundation is responsible for coordination.
