IAMO Forum 2011 "Will the ‘BRICs Decade’ continue? – Prospects for trade and growth"

The IAMO Forum 2011 will focus on trade and growth in the world’s leading emerging economies Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRICs) and the repercussions on the world economy. It aims to take stock of current research on the consequences of the rise of new economic powers for the world economy. Besides macroeconomic questions the Forum 2011 will focus on agriculture, global food security, and the stabilisation of highly erratic international commodity markets.
