New funding formats Indo-German Science and Technology Centre

Duration: 27.10.2022 City: online

The Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC) is an Indo-German centre for the promotion of application-oriented research. The IGSTC is a joint initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Indian Department of Science and Technology (DST).

The core of the IGSTC is the funding of so-called "2+2" projects in which industry and academia work together in a network for application-oriented research.

In recent years, however, IGSTC has developed other funding formats, such as the WISER programme, which supports excellent female researchers, and the PECFAR programme, which supports young researchers in cooperation with German and Indian partners.

In addition to the general development of Indo-German cooperation, the event will focus on these and other funding formats.
