The Chance for Science initiative, launched by Leipzig University Professor Carmen Bachmann, offers Ukrainian students and researchers from all disciplines an opportunity to network and continue participating in academic life: the second virtual conference Chance for Science will be held on 8 and 9 September. It will let students, professors and academics from Ukraine network with German colleagues and fellow students. In ten-minute presentations, they will share details of their current research topics as well as master’s or doctoral theses they have started.
The conference will provide an initial networking opportunity, from which further contacts can arise independently afterwards. In addition, networking via the existing platform is still possible online.
