Enhancing the bilateral partnership with Ukraine

The new project BILAT-UKR*AINA (Enhancing the BILATeral S&T Partnership with UKRraine * Advanced INnovative Approach) has started last year in September and will be running until June 2015.

The project is the follow-up of the BILAT UKR project. With this project - and its "advanced innovative approach", the cooperating institutions from Austria, Hungary, Germany, France, Poland, Romania and of course Ukraine, have the following missions:

  • contributing to and enhancing the policy dialogue
  • monitoring and analysis of the S&T cooperation
  • transferring best practice concepts and know-how on funding  programmes, technology transfer, innovation support measures etc.
  • supporting Ukrainian participations in FP7/HORIZON 2020 in cooperation with local National Contact Points (NCPs)
  • training the best researchers, organising webinars, networking workshops
  • building synergies between existing programmes
  • reaching relevant policy-level institutions, funding bodies, NCPs,     researchers, research managers/institutions, research-oriented SMEs     and industry, other relevant EU projects and the public at large.

In addition to the regular project activities, project also runs a portal with the up-to-date information on the S&T cooperation with Ukraine - S&T Gate Ukr.EU.
