The countries Belgium (Flanders), Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey are involved in the preparation process.
Funding is provided for multilateral, Russian-European joint projects in order to establish a long-term research cooperation between the respective project partners. A call for proposals for Russian-European innovation projects will follow in summer 2017. The new calls follow the huge success of a similar support measure implemented in 2014/2015, that resulted in 18 funded 'Innovation' and 45 funded 'Science & Technology' projects.
