Joint Call of New INDIGO’s Networking Pilot Programme

The FP7 funded ERA-Net “Initiative for the Development and Integration of Indian and European Research” (New INDIGO) aims at strengthening the multilateral S&T cooperation between Europe and India as well as at harmonising the existing bilateral cooperation to pave the way for long-term scientific cooperation. The joint call of New INDIGO’s Networking Pilot Programme will further enhance the coordination of the research collaboration between the European funding countries France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Turkey as well as India.

 Proposals are invited in the field of Biotechnology and Health focusing on:

  • Biomarkers and Diagnostics
  • Bioinformatics for Health
  • Structural Biology for Health

The proposals can be submitted through a 2-step application process. The first step, the submission of pre-registrations can be submitted until 8th of March 2010, 12:00 CET. Only pre-registered research consortia are admitted to submit a full proposal. Detailed information about the application system is available at the New INDIGO Website as well as in the Guidelines for Applicants. The Guidelines are available as PDF document at the website, too.

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is the participating funding body for German scientists.
