The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus (SCST) is a national State governing body carrying out the State policy, exercising control in the area of scientific-technical and innovation activities and protection of rights of intellectual property items and coordinating the activities of other national State governing bodies in the mentioned areas. The SCST is subordinated to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
