International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTP Canada) develops and implements R&D collaboration programs under Science and Technology (S&T) cooperation agreements between Canada and its key trading partners, including India, China, and Brazil.
ISTP Canada is mandated by the Government of Canada through the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD). All S&T partnerships facilitated by ISTP Canada are jointly financed by industry, foreign partners, and often provincial governments.
