The Ministry of Education, Science Technology and Innovation in the Republic of Kosovo is responsible for both the development of the scientific research and the higher education system, and for the promotion of innovation and technological development. Additionally, the ministry is in charge of the formulation of an overall strategy for the development of education, science and technology in Kosovo and the promotion of a single, unified, non-discriminatory and inclusive education system.
The Department for Science and Technology takes care of the creation of a good infrastructure, institutional and financial basis for science and research as well as of the promotion of technological developments in the economy.
