The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kingdom of Morocco has the following attributions:
- The Ministry develops and implements, within the laws and regulations, the government policy in the field of preschool, primary and secondary education, BTS training and preparatory classes to outstanding schools, and provides, within its powers, the state control on private school education.
The Ministry is also responsible for developing the government policy on education for the benefit of all children who do not attend or drop out Schools. - The Ministry is responsible for overseeing the organization of its administrative structures and the allocation of resources made available, taking into account national priorities and objectives.
- The Ministry is composed of, besides the minister's office, the central administration which exercises supervision over the regional academies of education and training, in accordance with the provisions of the law 07-00 creating these academies.
