"Bioindustry" is a new project of JSC "Lenexpo". It includes an exhibition and a conference, focused on the innovative solutions for reproduction, functioning and productive development of live organisms and their environment. It is aimed to form the main presentation platform for innovative and bio-technological solutions in the North-west Region of Russia, which will become the professional basis for the development of international and interregional cooperation in the field of innovative biotechnologies development and transfer. The project will also help to involve young scientists into the new research projects.
"Bioindustry" exhibition and conference have been initiated by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Russian Biotechnologists Association named after Ovchinnikov and JSC “Lenexpo”.
The idea is supported by the Russian State Duma, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Natural Resource and Ecology, Ministry of Agriculture, Federal Forestry Agency and Russian Academy of Agriculture.
The exhibition and conference will take place on May 17-19, 2011 at “Lenexpo” exhibition and congress center.
