Strong links between universities, research, industry, and the public are central for knowledge-based transformation and innovation in societies. Whether it’s about implementing a visionary approach in higher education, communicating the benefits of science and innovative technologies to the public, or defining new models of technology transfer between academia and industry – multiple challenges of our knowledge society require multidimensional and creative partnerships across areas, disciplines, regions, and countries to create and sustain impact.
The event "BW_i im Dialog" organized by Baden-Württemberg International will show how partners from university education, research and industry are working towards these goals. Dialogues will highlight interdisciplinary and cross-national learning models in higher education, regional and international examples of industry-campus cooperation, and how science engages with the public.
