The Open World Conference 2022 is an interdisciplinary conference about open science and global dangers. At the conference the participants will discuss the dilemmas of openness in research and research collaboration.
Open World Conference 2022 will feature a variety of speakers, who will address topics like the philosophical and ethical challenges of gene editing, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing; different forms of open science such as science diplomacy, citizen science, and open software; the nuclear arms race; historical perspectives on openness and secrecy in computer and cyber security as well as science policy making and risk regulation mechanisms.
