The Tech Diplomacy Global Forum is a global event dedicated to the intersection of technology, policy, and international diplomacy. UNESCO is hosting this Forum as part of its work on science, technology and innovation policy. It follows the UNESCO Global Ministerial Dialogue on Science Diplomacy which took place on 25. -26. March 2025.
The key themes are:
- Digital sovereignty and global governance;
- AI and Ethics in international relations;
- Cybersecurity and international cooperation; and
- Bridging the digital divide
The forum will launch its inaugural edition in Paris on 18. June 2025 at UNESCO Headquarters. It will bring together world leaders, tech innovators, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss and shape the future of global digital governance. The event will be held in a hybrid format, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
