The Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility is a new instrument that gives Member States and countries associated to Horizon 2020 practical support to design, implement and evaluate reforms that enhance the quality of their research and innovation investments, policies and systems.
The Policy Support Facility provides best practice, independent high-level expertise and guidance at the request of Member States and Associated Countries through a number of services: Peer Reviews, Mutual Learning Exercises and Specific Support to Countries. The Policy Support Facility replies to the strong need to offer more customer-oriented services to support evidence-based policy making. To organise this process the Commission issues an annual call for Expression of Interest via the European Research Area and Innovation Committee.
