The "Strategy for research cooperation and research in development cooperation 2015-202" (Annex to Swedish Government decision 18 December 2014, UF2014/80398/UD/USTYR) governs the use of funds that, under appropriation 1:1 International aid, are allocated under the appropriation item "Research cooperation" in the Swedish Government’s appropriation directions for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and under the appropriation item "Development research" in the letter of appropriation for the activities of the Swedish Research Council, for each financial year. The strategy is valid for the period 2015–2021.
