The Knowledge and Innovation Communities of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) are partnerships that bring together businesses, research centres and universities. They allow:
- innovative products and services to be developed in every area imaginable, including climate change, healthy living and active ageing,
- new companies to be started,
- a new generation of entrepreneurs to be trained.
The EIT Alumni Community is an interdisciplinary and multicultural network of networks gathering graduates and alumni from EIT's education, business creation and/or innovation programs, regardless of what Innovation Community they belong to, what area they specialise in, or what part of the world they live in.
