The ASCEND Conference (Advancing Strategic Competitiveness and European Innovation in Deep Tech) brings together policymakers, investors, business leaders, and other stakeholders to drive development in the field and will, during the conference, map out pathways to action for Europe’s deep tech leadership. The conference will cover deep technologies, including AI, supercomputing, semiconductors, the Internet of Things, genomics, quantum computing, space tech, biosolutions, biotechnology, renewable energy, waste management, water purification, advanced materials, and sustainable agriculture.
The conference is held in connection with the Danish Presidency of the European Union. It is spearheaded by the Technical University of Denmark and co-arranged with the Danish Ministry for Higher Education.
A pre-conference event will take place on 24. November 2025 in Lyngby (Denmark), followed by the main conference from 25. - 26. November in Copenhagen (Denmark).
