The inaugural European Innovation Area (EIA) Summit will take place this summer to coincide with the unveiling of the European Commission’s new plans for accelerating innovation across the continent. The role and contributions of the innovation stakeholders for the implementation of Europe’s future Innovation Agenda will be discussed. The summit is expected to be the launchpad for a new and dynamic era of innovation in Europe – one dedicated to delivering the world’s first climate-neutral continent. The aim is to build a powerful European Innovation Area for the benefit of Europe, its citizens, and its enterprises.
Organised by Knowledge4Innovation (K4I), MEP Maria da Graça Carvalho and other K4I Forum political members such as EIT KICs, European Partnerships, universities, and innovation support organizations, the Summit programme will lean on the EIA manifesto and its 8 Focus Areas, which align with the Commission’s vision for transforming the continent’s innovation ecosystem. They are along the lines of the upcoming communication priorities that will guide the innovation policy activities of the European Commission and the European Parliament in the years to come.
To secure your place at the event, which will take place from 27-30 June in Brussels and online, sign the EIA Manifesto.
