Die EU und Südkorea vereinbaren Cluster-Kooperation

Die European Cluster Collaboration Platform und die Korea Industrial Complex Cooperation haben im Oktober 2011 eine Kooperationsvereinbarung unterzeichnet. Damit setzt die EU ihre Internationalisierungsstrategie fort. Dies geht aus folgender englischsprachigen Pressemitteilung hervor.

On 10th October, 2011 a formal cooperation initiative – a so called Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) – between the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) and the Korea Industrial Complex Cooperation (KICOX) has been established.

Its focus is on strengthening business, research and technological cooperation between European and Korean clusters. This is the key message stressed by the “Memorandum of Understanding” signed by Mr. Pamminger (Managing Director of Clusterland Upper Austria Ltd.) representing the ECCP and  Mr. Cho (President of KICOX) representing KICOX in Seoul 10th October, 2011.

Consequently this MoU is another corner-stone within the internationalization strategy of DG-Enterprise to continue the successful story of signing MoUs with key players in global business. This encompasses countries such as Japan, India or Brazil and hence boosts collaboration and innovation between European SMEs and its foreign partners through clusters.
